VAYNER MEDIA

When I first met Gary Vee, he told me his vision for VaynerMedia. A full service creative shop with a focus on social media marketing--still a new concept in 2011. I had just spent the last few years in the big agency world and was ready to change course. Gary trusted me to apply my big agency expertise to the smaller, more nimble world of social marketing, acting as a bridge for marketers from the old to the new. Of course many other companies followed that direction, but we were pioneers in the field. As the first creative director at VM, I was responsible for creating, managing and delivering social media campaigns and strategies for over 40 name brands, including Pepsico, Quaker, OWN Network and Campbells, to name a few. I hired and managed a huge 25+ creative staff that included Developers and Project Managers I managed client relationships, both selling ideas and guiding them through the changing world of social marketing.

  • Leading design and production of print, identity, packaging, multimedia, web design and coding
  • Developing new business and managing vendors
  • Managing multiple projects from concept to press
  • Managing press checks and directing photo shoots
  • Communicating with client IT departments to guide web design QA
